Joseph works as a choreographer, performer and facilitator. Joseph’s choreographic work includes ‘Viva... ’ (‘Dance Channels’ EU project), ‘Deeper Than All Roses’ (FascinatE multimedia project between BBC, Technicolour, University of Salford and various EU partners), ‘PIIGS...Italy’ (via Moving Dance Forward), the fine art and dance collaboration ‘Drawn Together. Drawn Apart’ and the 2010 TURN Prize work ‘ Abandoned Things’ .

 

Joseph’s solo works includes ‘ Staff ID 5201 ’ and ‘The Age Of Ledger’. Between Australia and the UK, Joseph’s has a history of performing with imitating the dog, Opera Queensland, Buzz Dance Theatre, Dance North, Willi Dorner, Eleni Edipidi, Slunglow, Wendy Wallace, Jean Tally, Bridget Fiske and Barking Gecko Theatre Company .

 

Joseph has worked on many grassroots community engagement projects and is a Dance lecturer  in Higher Education contexts. Joseph also works in areas of artist led development, arts entrepreneurship and arts organisational development through board/advisory group roles currently including Manchester Dance Consortium.
